How Now?

Chew. Chew. Chew.

The light is out and the smell is new. Cold is coming, and the smell is snorky and brambish. Chew. The two leave the tree-not-tree under which they shade themselves while the light is out. Chew. The big one smells like death and me. The not-big one smells like burning and fear. Closer. Chew.

Dongle, dongle.

The Big One is staring like for enemies. Straight. She smells like fear. Like for young. Chew. Loud noise. Turn. Chew. A large black beetle is coming. Very fast. The smell of it is fruggish with a hint of karuchfulness that leaves much to be desired. Chew. Chew. The Not-Big One hides under the Tree-Not-Tree, but the Big One keeps it there. The wing of the Not-Beetle open, and more like the Big One leave it. More like Not-Big One. Now there is one Big One and more than two-Not Big Ones. A Not Big One has a thing. Dislike. Smells ristling. Leave.

Dongle, dongle.

Chew. Chew. Chew.
